(Before I begin, yes I am retired from photography sessions and weddings, however I made two exceptions: this wedding and my best friend’s wedding in October. If you’ve emailed me about photography I don’t want you to think I’m being selective and lying! I promise, I am retired. :))
These two are so special to me. They’ve been through so much together in a short amount of time and it was finally their day to celebrate themselves. The sun was shining, the views were stunning, the venue was beautiful, and although I missed having Paul with me (he’s officially officially retired :)) I was able to photograph with two lovely ladies who were helping me out, Meg Cooper and Nhia Xiong (thank you!!!).
There were lots of emotions throughout the day; a year ago exactly they lost Brad’s best friend/best man too soon. In between laughter and smiling there were tears of sadness with the heavy absence of Jordan. Instead of Jordan giving his best man speech, Linnea took his place as Brad’s best friend and new wife, an act that gave me goosebumps, and I’m sure only solidified how much these two really belong together to their family and friends. I am so proud of these two and so grateful I was there to watch their day unfold. I can’t wait to see what life has in store for them and I can’t wait to watch them grow in their marriage.
Brad and Linnea, although you’ve already received your entire gallery, I hope you enjoy reliving the day through my eyes. :) Love you both and congratulations for the millionth time. :) xoxoxo
PS. Some of this photos are Meg’s, so just know I’m not taking all the credit. ;)
PPS. I’ve been TERRIBLE at blogging, so if you’d like to see their engagement session from LAST FALL (aye ya ya), click here. :)
I could comment on all of these photos – I love them all. :)
As always, this is why you should have two photographers, dear friends. :)
I could have taken photos of them all day.
Meg gets credit for the gorgeous head shots of Linnea.
:) :) :)
I would have loved to have sat here with a pot of tea and my diary. Isn’t this perfect?
I went to grade school with the doll on the left!! So sorry I missed saying good-bye to you, Molly!! xoxo
Married the longest on the dance floor. :)
I squealed when I took the photo on the left. :)
:) :) :)
I’m in love.
I hope you enjoyed it, friends! I know it’s been awhile since you’ve seen a wedding (over a year ago since Andre and Ellen’s!!), but you’ll be seeing another one in October!! :) Enjoy your weekend! xoxo
