I’ve been wanting to do a bridal session for such a long time and I was so excited when Leigha contacted me about working together on one. I had already been planning on putting together a shoot with my lovely sister and cousin (to come later this summer – can’t wait!), and was more than happy to work with her on another one. Leigha is a wonderful hair stylist and has done many weddings, including one that I have photographed so Leigha was in charge of hair and makeup. All we needed was a site, model, and florist. I contacted Kari from KMB Floral and she was thrilled to help. Her bouquets are always so beautiful and this session was no exception (I can’t wait to see what she comes up with for my sister and cousin’s shoot). Since this session was Leigha’s idea, she picked the site; her grandparent’s farm. Not only was this farm beautiful, but it had sentimental value to Leigha and her family and I was so happy that I could capture parts of her childhood within this session. Leigha also picked our model, a good friend of hers, Jess. Jess, you were absolutely gorgeous, amazing to work with, and a trooper through all of the mosquitoes, the cold, and the wet grass you ventured in. I can’t thank you ladies enough – the photos turned out beautiful (although I am a little biased) and I hope you all enjoy them!
*Another special thank you to Janelle, a former bride of mine. She has entered the lovely world of photography and joined Paul and I on this bridal session and did a wonderful job! Can’t wait to see big things from her! :)
