Oh friends, do I have something exciting to tell you today!!
Back in May I received an email from The Knot asking if they could use a photo from Avery & Lyz’s proposal!!! I hadn’t submitted anything to The Knot, they had just found my photo online!! I can’t tell you how excited I’ve been these past few months – I’ve tried to keep it a secret but let’s be honest, I just couldn’t contain myself. 🙂 They told me it would be featured in the fall/winter 2014 issue of Minnesota’s magazine that would hit news stands on August 11th. Well….I think I’ve gone to Target everyday since last Thursday checking, just to see if they added it earlier. Needless to say, they didn’t. But today I checked the calendar and it read “THE KNOT COMES OUT!!!”, so naturally we checked Target again. And it still wasn’t out. 🙁 On our way home, we decided to try Walgreens and if it still wasn’t out, I was just going to have to sacrifice the thrill of buying the magazine in person and order it online. BUT IT WAS THERE!!! We quick flipped through it, found our photo, and I may have squealed. We bought two. 🙂
